Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Boys & Girls Club Youth IMPACT Center encompasses one site serving Lanier County and a soon-to-come site that will serve Echols County! Youth IMPACT Center was originally founded in 2018 by Ryan Tuten, and in 2025 merged with the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, becoming the Boys & Girls Club Youth IMPACT Center. Ryan is currently the Area Director for this site!

Who We Are

Since 2018, the Youth IMPACT Center has provided the young people of our Lanier County community who need us most a place of safety, enrichment, and opportunity. Today, we serve over 100 kids daily across Lanier County and are soon expanding to reach Echols County. Our doors are open each day after school and during the summer for children ages 5-18.

Purpose

 We believe every child deserves a safe place to learn and grow. At the Boys & Girls Club, we come alongside our community's families to provide just that: a space where our kids are safe, loved, and learning every day. Our children are growing up in a complex world.  At the Boys & Girls Club, kids are learning that good character and hard work open the door to a bright future.

Key Programs

Our programs are built around the core components of Character & Leadership, Academic Success, and Healthy Lifestyles. Each day, afterschool and in the summer, our sites operate full schedules including homework time, certified teachers, nutritious meals, and, of course, fun programs such as book club, robotics, the arts, kayaking, workforce development, and so much more!

The word "IMPACT" stands for...

The word "IMPACT" stands for: I Must Personally Advance Christ Today. We believe if we would simply demonstrate the various characteristics of Christ every day that we will have the greatest IMPACT on the lives of children.

We exist to IMPACT the lives of youth, families, and our community through education, nutrition, and character development. We encourage all individuals to reach their full potential and purpose and use their God-given abilities to serve others.

There are so many ways to help at the Boys & Girls Club Youth IMPACT Center! Of course, your financial gift is completely transformative for our children as it provides meals, caring staff, and life-changing programming. However, donations like books, school or art supplies, or basketballs will always be put into action.
