Having spent nearly a decade working directly with young people at the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, I've seen firsthand the impact our programs have on the children we serve, the hard working families we partner with, and our great community.

As a product of this community myself, I understand the importance of investing in the next generation. That's why our mission is so close to my heart: to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. At the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, we believe in providing opportunities for academic success, promoting healthy lifestyles, and nurturing character and leadership development.

This transition marks a momentus point of growth for our organization as Brian Flemming, our previous CEO, has moved into a Senior Advisor role for some vital projects we have on the horizon.  After successfully leading and strengthening our Club for 15 years, Brian will utilize his expertise and passion to spearhead a brand new workforce development campus for our teens. This new campus will focus on equipping the workforce of tomorrow by offering an engaging environment to learn work skills in areas such as carpentry, welding, and healthcare, as well as vital life skills such as personal finance, cooking, communication, and character. 

I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead this organization and to work alongside each of you in our shared mission. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and teens we serve and in the communities we call home.
